Description
A 3D CAD/CAM Verification Jig is a digital, precision-manufactured tool used in implant dentistry to verify the accuracy of implant positions and frameworks before fabricating the final prosthesis. Unlike traditional jigs made manually, CAD/CAM jigs are designed digitally and milled or 3D-printed to fit the patient’s implants or analogs with high precision.
Purpose: Ensures passive fit of multi-unit implant frameworks, especially for full-arch or complex prostheses.
Material: Usually milled from resin, PMMA, or metal blocks using CAD/CAM technology.
Use Case: Especially useful when multiple implants are placed at different angulations, or when prosthetic accuracy is critical for final restorations.
